Vaulting platform Americana, in collaboration with the popular OpenSea NFT marketplace, has introduced its concierge vaulting service, allowing collectors to securely store, showcase, and sell both physical and digital assets. Recently, on July 21, Americana announced the public launch of its vaulting platform. According to the platform’s website, applications are now being accepted, and users can store up to three of their favorite collectibles for free during the first year. This significant step from beta to the public launch has been a long time in the making, as described by Founder and CEO Jake Frey in a podcast.

White-Glove Service and Secure Vaulting

Americana aims to provide collectors with a seamless experience by offering white-glove service. Fine art handlers, who are among the best in the world, will assist collectors in managing their items. Regardless of the nature of the collectible, collectors can expect top-notch service. Once the items are in the possession of Americana, they will be stored in a high-security, temperature-controlled, tax-free-state vault. However, before storing them physically, the items will be digitized, ensuring a detailed and in-depth view for potential buyers.

A One-Stop Platform for Collectors

Americana’s platform offers a comprehensive range of services for collectors. In addition to providing physical vaulting, the platform facilitates the transportation process of goods to the facility, digitizes each item, verifies ownership through blockchain technology, provides condition reports, and even offers an online marketplace for buying and selling these blockchain-verified physical assets. Through Americana Digital Title, both digital and physical works can be secured under a single title, allowing collectors to acquire them as intended by the creators.

Security and Partnership

Americana ensures the utmost security for the vaults, which are monitored 24/7 by state-of-the-art security systems managed by Crozier Fine Arts. Collectors will have the opportunity to consult with the Americana team to create a personalized plan and complete the authentication process before receiving a digital certificate of authenticity. The platform is also supported by Seven Seven Six VC firm, founded by Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian, which raised $6.9 million in seed funding in May 2022. Notably, Americana collaborated with OpenSea and rapper Future to release 10,000 non-fungible tokens (NFTs) called ‘Something Token’, providing holders with exclusive access and discounts while serving as a membership to Americana.

In summary, Americana’s concierge vaulting service revolutionizes the storage and selling process for collectors by offering a secure and comprehensive platform. The integration of physical and digital assets, along with meticulous handling, authentication, and an online marketplace, ensures a seamless and efficient experience for collectors. With the backing of industry experts and notable partnerships, Americana is poised to become a leading platform for collectors in the digital age.
